Practical disability inclusion from education to employment
Disabled Student Futures helps schools, colleges, universities and employers turn disability commitments into practical improvements. We provide briefings, workshops and consultancy that build staff confidence, identify barriers and support disabled young people as they move through education and into work.
Our work combines lived experience of disability, senior academic leadership, graduate recruitment expertise and commercial experience. Sessions and reviews are tailored to your audience, priorities and existing provision.
Find support for your organisation
Schools and colleges — build staff understanding, strengthen support for disabled and neurodivergent learners, and prepare young people for their next stage of education or employment.
Universities — connect disability support, academic practice, careers provision and employer engagement to strengthen the student to employment pathway.
Employers — make graduate recruitment more accessible and help managers create working environments in which disabled colleagues can contribute and progress.

How we can help
Choose a keynote or introductory briefing, an interactive workshop, a programme of linked sessions, or a focused consultancy review. Student and graduate sessions provide practical support with confidence, job searching, recruitment adjustments and starting work. Online and in-person arrangements can be discussed alongside accessibility requirements.

Experience behind the work
Founded by Dr David Gordon, Disabled Student Futures draws on more than 30 years of higher education experience, over three decades of commercial experience, 25 years of recruiting students and graduates into commercial roles, and two decades of lived experience as a wheelchair user.
